In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our clients within the water treatment industry. You will leverage your extensive knowledge and experience to resolve complex technical issues, ensure customer satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of our field sales and service team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in water treatment, gain valuable hands-on experience, and position yourself for future career growth into account management or other advanced roles within the company!ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Project professional image of the Company through positive attitude and punctual and reliable attendanceAdhere to all Company policies, including safety and quality policies and applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Keep vehicle in good operating condition and keep up with recommended maintenance as neededFollow all legal safety regulations, as well as procedures set forth by both Company and customersParticipate in delivery and installation of systems at customer sitesWork onsite at customer locations to provide routine, day-to-day service to determine water treatment program is operating within optimal ranges and document findings in detailed reportsLocal travel is expected and ongoing; travel approximately 5% outside assigned regionMaintain professional and technical knowledge to provide sound water treatment recommendations to customersManage and place orders, track inventory & usage of product at each site, and serve as the general face of Apex to assigned customer baseSend service reports to Account Manager for each site visitedAdhere to and support all safety policies and guidelinesPerform other duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalentOne (1) year of experience in technical service in industrial water treatment or specialty chemicals industry, including knowledge of water treatment systems, such as filtration, disinfection and chemical dosingWorking knowledge of cooling tower systems, steam generation, and chilled/hot/process water closed-loop systemsMechanical and technical aptitudeAbility and willingness to use a hands-on approach to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform technical repairs, such as pump rebuildsStrong communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients and stakeholdersValid driver's license and willingness to abide by Company standards for operating a motor vehicleAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability and willingness to physically provide service at customer facilities within a wide range of environments, including hot, loud industrial facilities as well as outdoor environments that may include exposure to sun, rain, wind, or other weather conditionsCommitment to supporting customers, which may include occasional availability after standard business hours (typically via phone) for urgent needsAbility to pass a respirator fit test and wear a half-or full-face respiratorMinimal overnight travel may be requiredCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS:The anticipated salary range for this position is $60,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
