Light Industrial AssemblerAs a Light Industrial Assembler, you will complete assemblies for hydraulic hoses, participate in inventory cycle counts, and maintain stock organization. Your role involves measuring, cutting, crimping, wrapping, and fitting hoses for shipment, as well as cleaning equipment and shop areas. You will actively participate in lean activities and adhere to safety regulations, regularly suggesting and working on continuous improvement projects for lean, quality, and safety.ResponsibilitiesComplete hydraulic hose assemblies independently.Participate in inventory counting and maintain stock organization.Measure, cut, crimp, wrap, and fit hoses for shipment.Clean equipment and all shop areas.Engage in lean activities and adhere to safety regulations.Suggest improvements and work on continuous improvement projects.Assist in order entry.Lift up to 50 lbs.Essential SkillsAbility to assemble hydraulic hoses.Proficiency in using tape measures and hand tools.Capability to read blueprints and perform wiring.Experience with hand and power tools.Strong measurement and assembly skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsBasic computer skills.Experience with crimpers.Must lift up to 50 lbs independently.FLO and pallet jack experience preferred.Basic warehouse and cycle counting experience.Why Work Here?Enjoy benefits and a 401k plan once hired. Employees must be comfortable learning every part of the shop and being cross-trained. The role requires working independently and in small teams after training. This is a first-shift position.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rosedale, MD.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
