• Nights -- 7 pm - 7 am shift schedule
• Average census of 16 patients per night
• Average 1 - 2 admissions per night
• ER physician available for backup and procedures
• No procedures required -- nocturnist responds to codes
• Open ICU with E-ICU consult service available
• Recurring blocks of 5 - 7 night shifts every 1 - 3 months
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
• We simplify the credentialing and privileging process
