Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Canton, GA, 30114. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations by ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility. Responsibilities- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, and stack products.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring accuracy in inventory management.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of materials handled.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency in the warehouse.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks as needed.
