Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Huntsville, TX | 4/3 Split Schedule Qualifications – Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – State of Texas American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) Qualifications – Preferred 2+ years of nursing assistant experience Appropriate active license Overview Our client is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patient care in Huntsville, Texas . In this role, you will assist with daily living activities, provide adjunct clinical support, and help maintain patient comfort and safety. This position follows a 4/3 split schedule , offering stability and predictable work routines while contributing to a high‑quality care environment. Key Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living , including serving meals, feeding, ambulating, turning, positioning, and providing hydration Provide adjunct care such as administering enemas, douches, non‑sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice/heat treatments, sitz baths, therapeutic baths , and applying restraints Maintain patient stability by checking vital signs , monitoring weight, testing urine, and recording intake/output Enhance patient comfort by transporting patients, responding to call lights, and reporting observations to nursing supervisors Document all actions by completing required forms, logs, reports, and records Follow all policies and procedures to maintain smooth work operations Protect patient confidentiality and uphold organizational values Adhere to professional standards , hospital policies, federal/state/local regulations, and JCAHO requirements Maintain job knowledge through continuing education, professional publications, and licensure upkeep Support the nursing department by taking ownership of new tasks and seeking opportunities to add value Education & Experience Requirements Active CNA License AHA BLS certification 2 years of nursing assistant experience Appropriate active license Work Schedule 4/3 split schedule Location: Huntsville, TX #J-18808-Ljbffr Purposelink Recruitment
