Overview:

Due to growth, Cape Cod Rehab is now hiring a full-time or part-time Physical Therapist for an Outpatient Orthopedics & Aquatics focused position in Mashpee, MA. Full-time is preferred, 40 hours per week are available. Part-time candidates with a minimum of 16 hours and 2 weekdays of availability will also be considered. New grads are welcomed and encouraged to apply!

Caseload / Patient Population:

The Physical Therapist in this role will work with a diverse, general orthopedic caseload, including pre and post-operative patients as well as individuals across a wide range of fitness levels seeking conditioning and injury prevention support. The clinic features an on-site warm water pool and a full fitness center, with approximately one third of the caseload involving aquatic therapy. (The PT typically stays on the side of the pool and does not join the patient in the water.) Additional areas of focus include balance, vestibular rehabilitation, and sports physical therapy.

Full-time Physical Therapists can expect to carry a caseload of approximately 11-12 patients per day.

Work Schedule:

This position is available full-time (preferred, 40 hours/week) or part-time. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 7pm, and Saturday 8am to 1pm. Weekends and holidays are never required, though Saturday hours are available for those who want them. Schedules are determined collaboratively based on candidate preference. Compensation:

The salary for this position is in the range of $80,000-$100,000 with increases based on experience and qualifications.

Job Requirements:

• Graduation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (or equivalent standing).

• New Grad PTs will be welcomed, supported, and mentored.

• Eligible for Massachusetts state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

• Full-time is preferred, 40 hours per week are available.

• Part-time candidates with a minimum of 16 hours and 2 weekdays of availability will also be considered.

• Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

About Cape Cod Rehab:

In 1985 Cape Cod Rehab was started by local businessmen, including the former Boston Celtic Head Athletic trainer for 8 NBA championship teams, and hired Joe Carroll to be the first employee and only Physical Therapist at the Mashpee location. In 1988 Joe and his wife Kathy bought Cape Cod Rehab and became 100% owners. An additional office was opened in Osterville. Cape Cod Rehab has grown from the original location with one Physical Therapist to three locations and over 14 PT and PTA providers and 40 employees.
