Emergency Medicine Physician

Coverage Needed :

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• End Date: Ongoing
• Schedule: Main hospital campus may consider less than 12hr shifts, affiliated FSED's require 12hr shifts
  • Shift Times: 6a-4p, 9a-7p, 12p-10p, 3p-1a, 7p-5a, 9p-7a
• Must be flexible to work days, nights and weekends
• Preference is for locum providers to be open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated FSER's

Clinical Details :

• Annual ER Admissions: 24%
• Required Procedures: All standard ER procedures
• Level II trauma Center
• Only transfer plastics/hand (some coverage), neuro IR, Peds
• Average Patient Census: 170
• Common Cases: Trauma (mainly blunt), mix of all types of patients
• Neurology, Psychiatric

Requirements :

• Flexibility in Schedule:
  • Provider MUST be willing to work day AND night shifts
  • Provider MUST be willing to work weekdays AND weekends
• DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
• Board Certified in one of the following:
  • American Board of Emergency Medicine
  • American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine
• Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered 'Local', and will not be eligible for this role
• Active MO license
• ATLS (one time in career), ACLS, ATLS, PALS
