Senior Accountant

Kforce's client, a growing organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its collaborative finance and accounting team. This role offers a flexible, primarily remote work arrangement; However, candidates must reside in Michigan and be able to participate in occasional in-person team meetings as needed. What You'll Do:
- Senior Accountant will support month-end close and financial reporting activities
- Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules
- Analyze general ledger activity and resolve account discrepancies
- Assist with accounting process improvements and workflow efficiencies
- Support audit, tax, and other corporate accounting initiatives
- As a Senior Accountant, you will collaborate with cross-functional business partners and finance leadership
- Contribute to ongoing systems and process transformation efforts
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong general ledger, account reconciliation, and month-end close experience
- Experience in software, technology, SaaS, subscription-based, or recurring revenue environments is a plus
- Deferred revenue exposure is highly desirable
- Primarily remote work environment
- Michigan-based team with occasional in-person collaboration
