Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse
Location: Houston, TX
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac and vascular surgery within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in a variety of complex cardiovascular procedures including open and endovascular surgery, CABG, and TAVR.
- Scrub and circulate within the cardiovascular operating room.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment during procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in a cardiovascular operating room.
- Must hold valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience in scrub and circulate roles.
