As a Sr. Android engineer at Tinder, you will have an outsized impact and ownership of the most visible aspects of the Tinder App. We are deeply invested in challenging norms, constantly improving architecture design, exploring emergent tech and ideas, and leveraging new technologies in interesting ways to deliver an app that is widely known the world over. We are building a new, focused team within Tinder that feels a lot like a startup—nimble, efficient, and centered on building innovative features for the next generation of users. This role comes with a lot of ownership and visibility, as you’d be the founding Android engineer on the team and shape how we build the product, define architecture, and work closely with teams across the company to bring new ideas to life. You should be product- and user-oriented, and comfortable with autonomy and ambiguity. Where you’ll work: This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration three times per week. This role is based out of our New York, NY office.
