**Exciting Opportunity for a CT Tech in Radiology/Cardiology!**

**Job Description:**

- **Position:** CT Tech
- **Main Shift:** Day 4x10-Hour (07:30 - 18:00)
*Flexibility required for start times between 07:00 - 12:00 based on facility needs.*

- **Travel Experience Required:** No
*Must be proficient with Siemens and able to work independently.*

- **Experience Level:**
*Minimum of 2 years required.*

- **Charting System:**
*Experience with Meditech is required.*

- **Required Certifications:**
*ARRT CT*
*ARRT R*
*BLS*
*California license*
*State licensed*

- **Preferred Skills:**
- Abdomen and Pelvis
- Abdomen without and/or with contrast
- Pelvis without and/or with contrast

- **Work Settings:**
- Adult Acute Care
- Adult Outpatient
- Emergency Department
- Pediatric Acute Care (preferred)*

- **Special Procedures Involved:**
- Aspirations
- Biopsies
- Brain perfusion
- CT arthrography
- Spine and Musculoskeletal studies (Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic)
- Chest procedures (without and/or with contrast)

- **Additional Skills:**
- Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
- Starting Peripheral IV's
- Extremity X-ray skills

- **Patient Age Groups:**
- Adolescents
- Infants
- Adults
- Pediatrics
- Geriatrics

- **Daily Census:** 30-50 patients
- **Number of Rooms Available:** 1

- **Special Unit Details:**
*Typical Emergency Department patients, including trauma cases requiring multiple scans and extremity exams.*
*Frequent stroke protocols are performed.*

- **Other Requirements:**
*Must be open to floating between like units.*
*RTO must be included at time of submission.*
*Locals accepted; pending licenses not accepted.*
*Guaranteed hours with the possibility of call-offs once per two-week pay period.*
