Mammography Technologist Travel Assignment

Join our team as an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Clearlake, CA. In this role you will perform specialized breast imaging examinations to assist in diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. You will operate mammography and related imaging equipment and provide competent clinical care using appropriate technical and decision-making skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Mammography (ARRT-M) certification required. Preferred: ARRT-M recognized in CA.
• State of California mammography license or ability to obtain required California credentials. MRT (Mammographic Radiologic Technology) certification required in CA.
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI-BLS accepted).
• Experience with Volpara MRS system, Hologic mammography equipment, and GE DEXA machine preferred.
• Experience as a Mammography Technologist preferred.
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Fluoroscopy license preferred in CA.
• Venipuncture certification preferred in CA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of mammography technologist experience preferred.
• Prior experience in a hospital imaging department preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700 - 1700.
• Workdays: Monday through Thursday, consistent with client schedule.
• No call, no holidays, and no weekend requirements.
