Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis working across multiple grade levels, from kindergarten through 12th grade. This opportunity allows you to utilize your expertise in a school-based setting near Painted Post, NY, collaborating with educators and families to improve student outcomes.

Desired Background and Experience:

• Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience providing direct and consultative SLP services within schools
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students in grades K-12
• Skilled in assessments, IEP development, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12, addressing a variety of communication needs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure integrated support for each student
• Document all services, maintain accurate records, and track student progress toward goals
• Participate in team meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary discussions, and provide professional guidance as needed
• Provide support and resources to help staff and families implement student-centered strategies
