Breakfast AttendantBreakfast Attendants are responsible for attending to food and beverage area ensuring a high level of quality and consistency. Adhere to all health, sanitation and cleanliness standards to meet state and local Health Board inspections, brand standard and company requirements. The following reflects the essential job duties but does not restrict additional tasks that may be assigned. Duties of this job may be changed at management's discretion.Essential Duties include:Prepare and transport all food and beverage items and supplies, equipment and materials to and from the buffet breakfast areaContinuously monitor area to ensure adequate supplies of food, beverages, supplies, condiments, etc. to serve all guestsFollow proper preparation methods, to meet quality standardsWelcome guests and, make conversation to inquire about guest's stay and experience to engage the guests.Respond to requests in a prompt and professional mannerPurchase and/or request for purchase inventory to ensure adequate stock of food, beverage, supplies and equipmentMonitor food and beverage costs based on budgetMaintains and follows breakfast food scheduleEnsure procedures are followed for the security and proper storage of all products, inventory and equipment to minimize wasteMaintain a clean, neat and well-organized work and breakfast area, including but not limited to hoods, filters, tables, carts, ovens and grills, sinks, refrigerators, floors and countersEmpty trash and clear tablesCheck the working condition of equipment and report to supervisor any unsafe or malfunctioning equipmentMaintain twice daily temperature logs for all coolers and freezers.May operate dishwashing machine in accordance with manufacturer specifications and instructions and store clean supplies in assigned storage locationInspect items for wear and tearEnsures compliance with energy conservation and job safety requirementsProactively maintain assigned areas and equipmentEnsure efficient completion of daily assignments in a timely mannerReport all safety concerns to managementAttend and participate in all mandatory trainingsFlexible with schedule and assignments as well as duties in other departmentsMaintain effective performance under pressurePerform additional duties as requested by supervisorRequirements:Excellent customer service skillsAbility to work independently and with othersGood communication skillsAttention to detailAbility to occasionally lift/carry up to 35 lbs.Ability to multi taskDisplays good initiativeMust hold all mandatory certificates based upon brand and area requirementsMust be able to work weekends and various schedules and shiftsBenefits:Paid time offHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insurance
