Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leaderWe pioneer technology for mobility experience that matter to people.Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesPosition Summary: Ensure that series production meets customer requirementsSupport to the continuous improvement processEnsure the plant readiness to launch successful programsManage and report key ME indicatorsResponsibilities:Series production Support the engineering change management processBuild the engineering budget and the plant CAPEX; and ensure their applicationMonitor capacity utilizationPlan, monitor and coordinate the work of external companies Participate to the Division industrial strategyDevelop capital budget requirements to adhere to established facilities standardsCreate and introduce procedures regarding the tasks of his field of responsibilitySupport problem solving initiativesContinuous improvement process: Support the continuous improvement process in Labor, Quality, Equipment and EngineeringPlant readiness to launch new programs Participate in the definition of the production process and selection of machines and equipmentSupport production in the start of new processes to ensure a successful SOP (initial samples, run @ rate, work instructions) managing PLTL’s.Participate to the gate reviews and validate the industrial gate reviewsSupport to RFQ (Request for Quotation) in order to give manufacturing inputsPeople ManagementStaff, train coach, assess and develop the plant ME and Maintenance teams (direct or dotted line)Schedule specific technical trainings from suppliers/ vendors.Participation in the management of the expertise network (knowledge capitalization)ReportingConsolidate ME key indicators of the plants and propose action plansHSESupport commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy.Your profile and competencies to succeedAt least 5 years of experience in production area, including one position in Manufacturing EngineeringMinimum 3 years of experience in leadershipPreferably a Master degree in engineering or applicable work experienceTrained in Faurecia Excellence System and Program Management SystemExperience in program launchProficient level of EnglishKnowledge / Skills:Good financial skills (costing, budget, investment)Leadership skillsAbility to interface with other functions - Networking capabilities.International mindsetStrong communication skills, ability to manage functional network and line managementWhat we can do for youAt Forvia, you will find an engaging and dynamic environment where you can contribute to the development of sustainable mobility leading technologies.
