Security Compliance Analyst

Salary: $88,000 - 125,000 per year

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience. Three to five years of experience in information security compliance, IT audit, or governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) roles. Ability to communicate effectively with people at all organizational levels, including end users, technical staff, and management. CISSP, CISA, CISM, or a related security or audit certification preferred; alternatively, ability to obtain a relevant certification within 24 months of hire. Responsibilities:

Support the maintenance and execution of security compliance operations, helping ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal security policies. Collaborate with the Security Compliance Specialist and teams across information security, identity and access management, infrastructure, application development, risk management, auditing, legal, and business functions. Perform daily compliance activities, configure and maintain compliance settings in the Microsoft Security Suite, maintain documentation, research requirements, and monitor security controls. Help identify and remediate compliance gaps; gather control evidence, track remediation, and prepare audit responses in support of IT Model Audit Rule (MAR) control and IT Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) risk owners. Manage third-party risk assessments, including vendor request intake, security questionnaire distribution and review, SOC report and attestation collection, and documentation of outcomes and residual risk. Review vendor contracts, service-level agreements, and technology integrations for security gaps, escalating exceptions for review. Maintain the vendor inventory and risk register, tracking assessment status, reassessment schedules, contract renewals, and outstanding remediation commitments.
