Job Title: PCU Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Care Duration: Not specified Shift: Not specified Hours per Shift: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar-sized facility with documented PCU experience License: Active nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Documented experience in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU with a cardiac population - Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:3-4 - Experience with STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors - Willingness to be assigned to telemetry beds with lower acuity levels Description: This position requires a dedicated nursing professional with a strong background in cardiac care. The ideal candidate will have documented experience in a cardiac progressive care unit. You will be responsible for managing a patient load of 3 to 4 patients with cardiac conditions. Experience with administering cardiac drips such as Milrinone and Dobutamine is essential. Candidates should be able to respond to emergencies involving STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain. The role may also involve oversight of telemetry beds in the same unit when necessary. BLS and ACLS certifications are required to ensure the safety and effectiveness of patient care.
