Job Type Full time Exempt/Non Exempt Hourly Job Description We are seeking a Field Life Agent to engage in outside sales activities, selling Life & Health insurance, annuity products, and membership services, and to help retain the Auto Club Group’s 14+ million members. Compensation includes a $2,500 Sign‑On Bonus, with $1,000 paid after 30 days and $1,500 paid after 90 days. Develop leads and prospects through outbound/inbound calls, mailings, referrals, networking, website, seminars, and other marketing activities. Prepare proposals, close sales of Life, Health, annuity, membership, and financial services products. Complete applications, forms, and follow internal procedures to ensure transactions comply with company policies. Collaborate with the branch to reach business goals and maximize sales opportunities. Assist underwriting and brokerage departments in satisfying requirements. Respond to customer inquiries, ensuring sound sales practices. Prepare reports documenting prospecting and sales activities, maintain production standards and persistency levels. Recognize high performance and hold accountability. Qualifications Valid state life sales license. Ability to take and pass LUTC or CLU coursework. Maintain life and health licenses required to sell products. Valid state driver’s license. Qualify and maintain all applicable state licenses for the Membership product. Education High school diploma or equivalent. Work Experience Minimum 2 years successfully soliciting and selling life insurance products. Experience selling intangible products. Desired Skills Strong knowledge of life insurance and annuity products. Active listening, needs analysis and recommendation skills. Effective communication of complex information. Proposal preparation and closing interview execution. Assessment of customer insurance requirements. Mathematical calculations for premiums and values. Relationship building and maintenance. Prospecting and developing new sales opportunities. Independent work with minimal supervision. Strong communication with branch partners. Understanding of tax and legal product impacts.
