Description

• Assess and evaluate patients in inpatient or outpatient settings and craft personalized treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work closely alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic goals, preparation for discharge, and home exercise routines
• Document patient evaluations, treatment provided, and progress in adherence to facility and regulatory protocols
• Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to assure cohesive care delivery

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
