Details Hospital-based Operating Room unit with 3 OR/Endo suites Circulating RN duties within the surgical team Patient ratio of 1:1 Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM 13-week assignment length Call rotation required (sign-up basis) Floating required to Madill location for surgery cases Holiday coverage required Uses Cerner/Surginet EMR system Requirements Active OK or compact RN license required BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Valid driver's license required for consideration Additional Information Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning patient care in the operating room Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, ORTs, and other surgical team members according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards Responsibilities include ensuring supplies are available, maintaining timeliness of cases, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases, and supervising personnel delivering patient care Scrubs are provided No option for 48 guaranteed hours or blocked scheduling RTO requests must be less than 1 week Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local travelers are not accepted Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered for this travel position American Traveler Job ID P-746475.
