Location: Columbia, South Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend coverage. Patient ratio of 1:2. 48 hours of orientation provided.

Highlights:

• Work in a 12-bed Cardiovascular ICU with a daily census of approximately 10 patients
• Care for post-sternotomy patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair, aortic dissection, and cardiothoracic procedures
• Gain experience with advanced devices including CRRT, ECMO, IABP, Impella, Centrimag, VAD, and PA catheters
• Collaborate with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy
• Preferred EMR experience with Epic system
• Pre-assignment modules are billable (up to 16 hours) and must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information

Requirements:

• Active RN license in South Carolina or compact state licensure
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience required
• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions; COVID-19 vaccination not required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from facility locations (distance requirements may vary based on specific criteria)
