Shop Helper

Shop Helper - 1st Shift
Responsibilities

• Assist with drilling and fabrication of structural steel beams
• Operate and monitor production equipment
• Use hand and power tools safely
• Move materials using overhead cranes (training provided)
• Load materials and position steel for processing
• Perform basic quality checks
• Keep the work area clean and safe
• Support general shop and production duties
• Work overtime and Saturdays as needed

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Experience in manufacturing, production, construction, or general labor preferred
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work overtime when required

Preferred Experience

• Machine operation
• Fabrication or structural steel work
• Overhead crane or material handling equipment
• Blueprint reading (a plus, not required)

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Souderton, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.57 - $19.57/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
