Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with up to 101 beds and patient ratios of 4:1 (medical) and up to 7:1 for behavioral holds
• Utilize Cerner for clinical documentation and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient information on communication boards throughout each visit
• Operate unit equipment including Baxter pumps and GE monitors in collaboration with techs, unit clerks, and cardiac monitoring staff
• Adhere to patient experience standards including AIDET, respectful behavior practices, and consistent patient communication throughout the visit
• Demonstrate flexibility to float within all sections of the Emergency Department as needed
• Apply real-time coaching, feedback, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (100,000+ annual visits)
• Active RN licensure
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start date
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Strong teamwork mentality with the ability to provide and receive real-time feedback

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working within an HCA-affiliated facility
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system
• Experience working in a diverse, multicultural patient population
