eROV Supervisor - Marine

The eROV Supervisor will supervise, control and operate ROV systems on board platforms, special vessels or from the Remote Operations Centre, ensuring personnel safety, equipment maintenance and compliance with contractual and safety standards. Job Responsibilities Lead by example and uphold QHSSE core values, ensuring employees and the environment are not placed at risk. Undertake regular safety meetings and risk assessments. Supervise technicians and operators to ensure compliance with procedures and sustainable operations. Lead and promote good QHSSE standards and practices. Use safety management processes for reporting near‑misses and incidents. Train and assess eROV pilot technicians and pilots within the Global Technical Competence Management system and Fugro Academy. Participate in QHSSE audits and inspections. Maintain communication with the eROV team and local management supervisor. Engage with project risk assessment processes. Act under the instruction of the Superintendent or the client. Conduct regular audits of project deliverables for accuracy. Highlight and report issues to Superintendents and Technical Managers. Handle emergency situations and manage the ROV team accordingly. Ensure project shift handovers, RA, TBT documents are updated. Keep the eROV fully operational during project requirements. Maintain the eROV and USV equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions. High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Remote Sensing, GIS, Geography or related field preferred. At least 5 years of experience operating and supervising ROV operations and ROV & USV maintenance. Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record. Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally. Ability to obtain and maintain offshore credentials such as TWIC, passport, water survival, and OGUK certification. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to continuously adopt best practices. Advanced knowledge of Windows operating system, including Windows 10. Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
