Industrial Painter - All Shifts - Pay up to $24/hr | Canton, OH

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team in Canton, OH. This position is crucial for maintaining the quality and integrity of our large equipment through expert painting techniques. The role primarily involves wet painting and powder coating with a work schedule Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Apply industrial painting techniques to large equipment, including wet painting and powder coating.
• Prime parts before painting and ensure proper hanging on the line for drying.
• Perform quality checks on finished parts to ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with Paint Helper, providing training and guidance in the painting process.
• Maintain proficiency with computers, specifically Excel, to document and track painting activities.
• Ensure compliance with mixing levels and standards.

Essential Skills:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in industrial paint spraying.
• Proficiency in wet painting and mixing ratios.
• Familiarity with quality assurance processes in industrial painting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in powder coating is a plus.
• Skills in grinding and sanding are advantageous.

Work Environment:

We operate across multiple shifts, with opportunities for overtime, requiring a dress code of jeans, shirt, steel toe boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, OH.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
