Job Description
Inventory Control Forklift Operator- Romeoville, IL Location: Romeoville, IL Shift: 8AM-4:30PM Pay Rate: $18.53/hour (Temp-to-Hire)
What You'll Do
- Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and overages
- Operate a Cherry Picker & Reach Truck forklift to access elevated rack locations for inventory checks and product retrieval
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory movements
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update system data in real time
- Support replenishment, put-away, and restocking processes
- Identify and report damaged goods, missing inventory, or safety concerns
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and stock verification as needed
- Follow all warehouse procedures and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work closely with supervisors, leads, and team members to meet daily operational goals
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of Inventory Control experience in a warehouse environment
- Cherry Picker experience required
- Comfortable working at heights and using fall protection equipment
- Experience with cycle counting, inventory audits, and discrepancy resolution
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift and move products throughout the shift
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
