Title
Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Schedule
M-F 8am - 8pm; on call required for overnights and weekends

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements
- NY license
- BLS Certification (AHA only)
- ACLS Certification (AHA only)
- 2 years of previous endoscopy procedure experience
- Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification
- Conscious sedation
- Expert IV insertion
- Experience recovering patients from general anesthesia
- Experience performing intake for gastrointestinal procedures

Roles & Responsibilities
- Answer patient questions and address concerns.
- Observe patient vital signs.
- Sedate patients before procedures.
- Recover patients after procedures.
- Administer necessary medications to patients.
- Complete all required documentation including patient notes and discharge documents.
- Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for the procedure.
- Clean and sterilize equipment before use.
- Assist doctors throughout the procedure.
- Administer IV drips.
