Pay: $27 - $30 DOE

Must have a clean background and be eligible for DBIDS and TWIC

Must pass drug screen

Outside Machinist work at Pearl Harbor Naval Station, Coast Guard station, and private shipyards. 

Qualifications:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair marine mechanical systems and equipment.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble pumps, valves, compressors, gearboxes, heat exchangers, and propulsion components.
• Perform precision alignment of shafts, bearings, engines, and associated machinery.
• Conduct equipment measurements using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and laser alignment equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform machining, fitting, grinding, and fabrication tasks as required.
• Assist with dry-dock and shipboard maintenance projects.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
