Production Supervisor - Chemical Manufacturing

We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Production Supervisor search in the Cleveland, OH area.

The shift consists of 10-hour days, spanning four days from Tuesday to Friday. Work hours are from 6 AM to 5 PM, with a one-hour lunch break included.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee work activities and allocate resources essential for the manufacturing and shipment of products, ensuring compliance with company standards for safety, cost, quality, and productivity.
• Actively participate in, audit, and coach on all production-related safety processes, fostering a culture of safety within the team.
• Ensure that productivity goals are met and that all processes operate in alignment with company objectives.
• Support employee growth through performance feedback, evaluations, coaching, recognition of achievements, and disciplinary actions when necessary.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor in a chemical manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
• Demonstrated expertise in ISO 9001 standards.
