Gastroenterologist

Cookeville Regional Medical Center (CRMC), a city-owned, nonprofit regional referral center, is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join the only GI practice in the community. This is an opportunity to become part of a five-physician GI team within a hospital-employed model, serving a large 14-county regional referral base. The role offers strong built-in demand due to a physician beginning to slow down, providing comprehensive gastroenterology services in a well-established system. Practice Info Only GI practice in the community Strong regional referral network Clinic within walking distance of hospital and ASC Lab services onsite for biopsies Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligible site Responsibilities Provide comprehensive gastroenterology services to a 14-county referral region Perform procedures at both the hospital and ASC Manage 20–25 clinic encounters per day Utilize Athena EMR in clinic and Paragon EMR in hospital Work in a 6,145-square-foot clinic with 18 exam rooms (3 per physician) Collaborate with dedicated MA/LPN support (1 per physician) Participate in 1:5 call rotation Perform ERCP and/or EUS (preferred but not required) Compensation $700,000 base salary WRVU productivity bonus $50,000 sign-on bonus $100,000 student loan assistance Fellowship stipend Relocation assistance Benefits 10 days CME with $4,500 allowance 4 weeks PTO plus holidays Health, dental, and vision coverage Long-term care insurance Long & short-term disability plans Critical illness plan Cancer expense protection policy Accident plan and intensive care policy 401(k) and 457 retirement plans 529 college savings plan option Shift & Schedule 1:5 call rotation Requirements Visa candidates welcome to applyaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
