Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: USA – ID – Hayden. Hourly wage range $31.68 – $43.56. Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) – BioLife Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. Job Summary Report to the Plasma Center Manager and support plasma center operations by determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Responsibilities Determine donor eligibility and conduct informed consent, HIV/AIDS education, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of serological protein electrophoresis (SPE). Manage donor adverse events and evaluate donor reactions in accordance with SOPs. Follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including development of the Center Physician’s standing orders and coordinating donor transport to emergency care facilities. Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility. Support hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees. Manage employee incidents and determine need for further evaluation by occupational health/ER. Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations of pandemic threats within the local community. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements. Currently licensed or certified in the state of assignment: Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA). Current CPR and AED certification. Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy. Satisfy FDA‑approved training requirements for a BioLife Medical Support Specialist. Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
