Industrial Pipe Welder Pay: $28–$35/hour (DOE) Hours: 5am-5:30pm Monday–Friday, & 8hr shift on Saturday Location: Catoosa, OK Weld Test: Open Root 3G MIG/Flux core (fill & cap) & 6G TIG root with Flux core fill & cap on 2" Schedule 160 pipe Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to join a leading manufacturer in the oil, gas, and energy industries. This role is responsible for setting up and operating advanced welding equipment, producing high-quality welds, and ensuring all work meets strict specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to safety and craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and adjust advanced welding equipment Perform high-quality welds in accordance with specifications and procedures Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards Troubleshoot welding issues and make necessary machine adjustments Minimize scrap, rework, and downtime through efficient work practices Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions Maintain accurate production tracking and meet performance standards Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of TIG pipe welding experience Ability to pass the following weld tests: Open Root 3G MIG/Fluxcore (fill & cap) 6G TIG root with Fluxcore fill & cap on 2" Schedule 160 pipe Ability to pass visual inspection prior to weld testing Knowledge of AWS/ANSI welding standards (or ability to obtain certification) Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions Understanding of welding parameters (voltage, amperage adjustments) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure Basic computer/data entry skills Commitment to safety and quality Benefits 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Life insurance Short-term & long-term disability Paid time off Parental leave Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Referral program Employee discount program Get paid whenever you need with wages on-demand via ZayZoon.
