City, State: Denver, Colorado $16.27 per hour + tips Job Title: Restaurant Busser / Server Assistant Purpose The purpose of a RESTAURANT BUSSER is to ensure that restaurant remains clean by quickly and efficiently bussing and wiping tables. Responsibilities Wipe tables or seats with dampened, sanitized cloths and replace dirty tablecloths. Set tables with clean linens, condiments, or other supplies. Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning. Clean up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash. Perform serving, cleaning, or stocking duties in establishments, such as cafeterias or dining rooms, to facilitate customer service. Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, or trays. Serve ice water, coffee, rolls, or butter to patrons. Fill beverage or ice dispensers. Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers. Locate items requested by customers. Maintain regular attendance, be consistently on time, and observe prescribed work, break and meal periods in compliance with standards. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code. Perform any other duties as requested by supervisor. Education & Experience A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3 to 6 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Demands Stand more than 2/3 of the time. Walk more than 2/3 of the time. Sit less than 1/3 of the time. Lift up to 50 lbs more than 2/3 of the time. Push / pull up to 50 lbs less than 2/3 of the time.
