About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required. License: TX Nursing License required. Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: - Ability to float to other med/surg/tele units as assigned. - Urgent need with flexibility for 36/48 hour alternating or straight 48 hour shifts. - Up to 6:1 patient ratios. - Travel experience strongly preferred. Description: This position involves providing nursing care to patients in a med/surg/tele unit. The nurse will be required to float to other units as needed. Candidates should have experience managing a patient load of six or fewer patients per nurse. Candidates must have NIHSS certification prior to starting. The facility values previous experience in travel nursing. Nurses will work three or four 12-hour night shifts per week. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams. Compliance with patient safety and quality care standards is essential.
