Product Demonstrator Part Time

Responsibilities Has desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner. Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product. Ability to prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives. Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements. Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution. Achieve 100% execution on assigned work. Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections. Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives. Complete expense reports per company policy. Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution. Access the internet, navigate company systems, use Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Word and Adobe PDF forms. Qualifications Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills: Proficient in use and navigation on a personal computer or mobile device using applications and internal systems. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required. Physical Demands: Stand and walk the shift; use hands and fingers; reach up to 65 inches; talk and hear; visual ability to read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally 50); push and pull a fully laden demonstration cart; prepare foods and beverages using required appliances; contact cleaning supplies. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel. Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and proper grooming; meet retailer dress code. Language Skills: English primary; bilingual may be required. This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, but may vary under company discretion.
