As an Outside Sales Representative / HVAC Comfort Advisor, you’ll meet with homeowners to evaluate their heating, cooling, and indoor air quality needs. You’ll recommend solutions that fit their home, priorities, and budget while guiding them through equipment options, financing, warranties, and the installation process.

What You’ll Do

• Meet with homeowners to evaluate their heating, cooling, and indoor air quality needs.

• Conduct in-home assessments and recommend appropriate replacement or upgrade solutions.

• Present equipment options, financing programs, warranties, maintenance plans, and available promotions.

• Prepare accurate estimates and proposals using company sales software.

• Explain system efficiency, comfort benefits, operating costs, and installation expectations clearly.

• Build trust through consultative, customer-focused recommendations.

• Follow up consistently with customers throughout the decision-making process.

• Maintain accurate customer notes, sales activity, and opportunity updates in the CRM.

• Coordinate with installation, service, dispatch, and office teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation.

• Maintain current knowledge of products, pricing, financing programs, and industry developments.

• Achieve individual sales and revenue goals while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous HVAC, in-home, home improvement, or outside sales experience preferred.

• Strong consultative selling, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to understand customer priorities and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Confidence overcoming objections and asking for the sale.

• Self-motivation, competitiveness, and accountability for results.

• Excellent verbal communication, listening, and follow-up skills.

• Strong organization and time-management abilities.

• Professional appearance and respect for customers and their homes.

• Comfortable using tablets, CRM platforms, and sales software.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on customer appointment availability.

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
