We are seeking a Tax Director to join the Private Client Services (PCS) practice, able to sit in a number of our offices. Specifically, Federal and State Individual and Fiduciary tax returns.Oversee and manage the tax return process including identification and resolution of tax issuesExperience with corporation and partnership accounting and tax conceptsMentor, train and manage staff accountants to meet deadline and prioritize workloadEffectively manage multiple tax engagements in a team environment, and also work independently. Identify potential opportunities for new and/or expanded client servicesAbility to lead and manage engagements, including budgeting, billing and engagement economicsHighly proactive approach to serving clientsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field is requiredPublic accounting experienceCPA10 + years work experience in tax compliance, specialization in individual, fiduciary, estate and gift taxationPreferred/Desired Qualifications:Master’s degree in tax or equivalent field preferredEisnerAmper is proud to be a merit-based employer.
