Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 8-bed ICU setting with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3, managing primarily cardiac and neurology diagnoses
• Titrate and manage drips as required per patient care protocols
• Interpret cardiac rhythms independently using Nihon-Kohden monitoring equipment
• Collaborate with hospitalist, resident, and mid-level providers; respiratory therapy available as needed for ventilator management
• Participate in block scheduling with rotating day and night shifts, including every other weekend and every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Prior ICU experience required
• Demonstrated ability to titrate drips and interpret cardiac rhythms

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac and/or neurology patient populations
• Familiarity with Nihon-Kohden cardiac monitoring systems
• Comfort working in a smaller ICU environment without dedicated patient care technicians
