About the Position

Job Title: RN CVICU Profession: RN CVICU Specialty: RN CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification, CPI/MOAB High Risk Online Portion, CPI/MOAB High Risk On-Site Portion Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiothoracic ICU setting. - Current certifications in BLS and ACLS. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiothoracic ICU. The unit consists of 20 beds dedicated to cardiothoracic surgical patients. Candidates must have experience managing cardiac and thoracic surgery patients. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. NIH Certification and CPI/MOAB High Risk training are also required. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills are essential for collaboration with the healthcare team. The position entails monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and supporting patient families. Participating in quality improvement initiatives is expected. Critical thinking and decision-making skills are vital for success in this role.
