Job Summary:
Critical Care Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) position located on the 2nd floor of a facility with a trauma level 2 designation. This role involves providing care to adult and geriatric patient populations, including post vascular, post coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), cerebrovascular accident (CVA), respiratory failure, heart failure, chest pain, and post catheterization lab patients. The position features a weekly schedule of night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; 1 year of experience in critical care or stepdown nursing; ADN or BSN degree; location: adult and geriatric patient care; minimum of 1 year of experience in relevant specialty
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with critical care stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU), TR bands, cardiac drips, chest tubes, and related treatments
• Additional Notes: Must be kind, respectful, a team player, punctual, and flexible; scrubs must be royal blue; no unacceptable attire listed
• Position Type: Contractual replacement; two openings available
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• End Date: 01/11/2027
