Open Monday - Saturday with evening hours available Role Overview As a key contributor to the Lanai Community Health Center, the incumbent in this role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the effective operation of the organization. As a Medical Assistant, your responsibilities are central to the provision of quality patient care. Beyond routine medical assisting duties, you will actively participate in the multifaceted nature of LCHC's role as a patient care, teaching, and research organization. This role requires a dynamic and flexible approach to contribute comprehensively to the diverse activities of LCHC. Qualifications Completion of a recognized Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification. Proven experience in performing Medical Assistant responsibilities. Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and basic clinical tasks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems. Requirements Full-time availability with a willingness to adapt to the dynamic needs of the organization. Commitment to active participation in workshops, education sessions, and outreach activities. Adherence to LCHC policies and procedures. Dedication to maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
