Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Home Health | PRN

As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) , you will be called to care when you're needed most. As part of Interim HealthCare, you'll provide in-home rehabilitation services to help patients regain strength, improve mobility, and maintain their independence while bringing comfort and dignity to their daily lives.

As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) , you will:

• Provide in-home physical therapy visits based on each patient's individualized plan of care under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT).

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, muscle re-education, gait training, transfers, and activities of daily living.

• Help patients improve strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and overall functional independence.

• Observe, document, and report patients' responses to treatment and any changes in their condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Educate patients and their families on exercises, safety techniques, and ways to participate in the rehabilitation process.

• Complete accurate and timely documentation following established care plans and agency guidelines.

To qualify for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position with us, you will need:

• Licensure: Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state associated with this position.

• Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification.

• Valid state-issued Driver's License and current Auto Insurance.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes throughout the Marion, OH service area.

• Ability to work independently while following the supervising Physical Therapist's plan of care.

• Previous home health or clinical experience preferred.
