About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Simi Valley, California, 93064!

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis, care issues, and develop individualized care plans
• Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide care in a safe, healing, and patient-centered environment
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and provide health education to patients and families
• Supervise and delegate appropriately to nursing staff, coordinating duties across the healthcare team using critical thinking and independent judgment

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Minimum two years of recent experience in telemetry or a related acute care setting
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• AHA or ARC Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
• AHA or ARC Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification: Required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification: Required
• EPIC electronic health record experience: Required
• Holiday time-off requests are not approved for this assignment

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior acute care facility experience
• Experience with patient and family education and discharge planning in a hospital setting

• Work in a well-established, award-winning healthcare environment serving the greater Ventura County region of Southern California
