Molecular Technologist

Lighthouse Lab Services seeks a skilled and motivated Molecular Technologist to support daily operations within a fast-growing, high-complexity laboratory. This role will provide testing support including molecular and some chemistry ensuring quality, efficiency, and full compliance with CLIA regulations. The ideal candidate has hands-on, strong technical expertise, a passion for process improvement, and experience working in high-throughput laboratory environments. Key Responsibilities: Technical Performance & Result Integrity Perform high-complexity testing across multiple departments in accordance with CLIA standards and internal SOPs Review, verify, and release patient results with accuracy; serve as the escalation point for complex testing questions and troubleshooting Maintain instrumentation through QC, calibration, and routine maintenance, flag issues early and follow through on resolution Quality & Compliance Ensure adherence to CLIA, QA, and safety standards in day-to-day bench work Maintain accurate documentation, SOP compliance, and data integrity, support inspection readiness and internal audit preparation Skills & Competencies Technical depth across multiple lab disciplines especially related to Molecular Testing Strong troubleshooting instincts; comfortable working through ambiguous problems without waiting for someone to hand you the answer Clear communicator who can explain technical issues to colleagues and clinicians alike Process-minded Calm under pressure and effective when the workload spikes Qualifications Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, or related field ASCP or equivalent certification preferred 1-3+ years of hands on clinical laboratory experience, including high-complexity testing preferably in a molecular settings with UTI/STI panels Solid understanding of CLIA regulations and quality systems Experience with automated and semi-automated instrumentation in a high-throughput setting Experience using QuantStudio, KingFisher Flex, Gene Expert instruments a plus Salary Benefits, and Shift: Salary: $25-$35/hour Shift: 1st shift M-F Full Comprehensive Benefits Why Join Us?
