We are seeking a Director of Talent to lead our people operations, talent acquisition, and team member development. In this leadership role, you will help to shape the restaurant culture, streamline recruitment, assist with operational HR compliance, and empower our team members to reach their full personal and professional potential. You will work directly alongside the Franchise Operator and Sr. Director of Operations to build a high-performing, hospitality-driven workplace. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Pipeline: Oversee end-to-end recruitment strategies to attract, interview, and hire top-tier talent for front-of-house, back-of-house, and leadership roles. Onboarding & Offboarding: Design a seamless onboarding experience that embeds corporate culture, values, and operational standards from day one. Scheduling: Manage the weekly operational schedule for the restaurant, identifying gaps and ensuring coverage to best support the team and business. Retention & Engagement: Implement team member recognition programs, regular pulse surveys, and culture initiatives to foster high morale and reduce turnover. Training and Development: Partner with store directors and leaders to identify growth potential in team members, map out career pathways from Team Member to Director, and oversee training within the restaurant. HR Compliance & Policy: Assist with the full compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws, manage employment records, oversee performance documentation, and handle employee relations with grace, discretion, and fairness. Qualifications Education: Associate, Bachelor’s, or certification(s) in a Human Resources field (or equivalent operational experience). Experience: 2+ years of HR or talent management experience, ideally within food & beverage, hospitality, or retail environments. Leadership: Proven ability to coach, mentor, and build trust across diverse teams. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong emotional intelligence. Availability: Ability to work on-site, including open/close shifts, weekends, and peak operational hours as needed to connect with team members across all shifts.
