Seeking Assembly Technician for an exciting opportunity with a new company in the South Philadelphia area - competitive opportunity to get into a rapidly growing company.

Join our dynamic team as an technician, where you will first be helping with the building and development of the manufacturing plant before production starts soon. When production officially starts, you will be assembling, testing and troubleshoot electro-mechanical products and systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components and subsystems
• Fabricate and assemble wiring harnesses, connectors, and cable assemblies following electrical schematics and documentation.
• Perform mechanical assembly of structural components, pressure housings, propulsion systems, and internal subsystem assemblies.
• Assist engineers with debugging and troubleshooting electromechanical systems during integration phases.
• Utilize and maintain test fixtures, tooling, and hardware used for subsystem validation and system integration.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience performing mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic assembly
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and assembly work instruction documentation.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean, reliable hardware builds.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
