Shift Schedule:

• Regular Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• Weekday Night Call: 4:30 PM 8:00 AM
• Weekend Call: 24-hour coverage
• On-Call Rotation: Approximately 1 in 3 or 1 in 4

How Many Shifts Needed per Month: Based on facility scheduling and coverage requirements

License: Active, unrestricted medical license from any U.S. State, Territory, or the District of Columbia

Certifications: Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Experience Needed: Prior OB/GYN experience with both inpatient and outpatient clinical services preferred

Special Skills Needed:

• Must be able to perform Cesarean sections (C-sections)
• Experience providing both inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN services
• Ability to provide on-call coverage
• Both inpatient and outpatient clinic.

Credentialing / Onboarding Time: 6 weeks to 8 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN services.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage obstetric and gynecological conditions.
• Perform C-sections and other procedures within the physician's scope of practice.
• Provide scheduled clinic coverage and participate in the required on-call rotation.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with IHS clinical policies and procedures.

Misc:
Position supports IHS Shiprock, NM and requires both inpatient and outpatient coverage, including scheduled call responsibilities.
