The Sales Associate will assist in receiving, stocking, and pricing all merchandise, and help maintain a clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness. Responsibilities Customer Service: Provide a positive representation of ARG, proactively assist customers in solving problems, greet customers upon entering the store, thank customers when leaving, and maintain a friendly outgoing demeanor. Respond promptly, courteously, and effectively to all customer inquiries and forward any unresolved complaints to management. Possess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout to assist customers throughout the store with personalized service based on the premise of amazing every customer, every time. Store Operations: Assist in creating a positive, professional and safe work environment; help with receiving, checking in and stocking merchandise; maintain back stock levels; keep the sales floor, stockroom and outdoor merchandise area clean, orderly, and properly stocked; provide assistance to Department Specialists for price changes and special orders; ensure signage is current; operate a forklift with proper training; communicate store support center issues and merchandising/cost control or sales ideas to the General Manager; participate in store meetings; maintain a professional appearance and actions; perform all other duties as assigned. Essential Requirements Ability to exhibit and incorporate core values into daily decisions and interactions. Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalent. Formal retail experience preferred.
