Port Royal Club, located in the heart of the prestigious Port Royal neighborhood in south Naples, Florida, is a private beach club dedicated to luxury, leisure, and exceptional service. Membership is exclusively tied to property ownership within the Port Royal community, making the Club a cornerstone of one of the most distinguished addresses in the country.

Our Club offers an array of world-class amenities, including a 10,000-square-foot fitness center featuring yoga, Pilates, and spin classes, as well as a serene spa for wellness and rejuvenation. The tennis center boasts nine Har-Tru clay courts and a 1,300-square-foot pro shop, catering to both recreational and competitive players.

Following the impact of Hurricane Ian in 2022, the Club has embarked on a $100 million rebuilding to reimagine our facilities. The new 62,000 sq. ft. clubhouse - set to open in fall 2026 - will embrace timeless West Indies architecture and offer an elevated member experience, featuring a coffee shop, three signature restaurants with indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, four bars, a banquet venue, a lap pool, and access to our pristine private beach.

Stewarding Banquet Lead is responsible for ensuring a smooth start to each day. Responsible for overseeing the event, Equipment allotment to all back of house spaces, for the day are prepared to be in use, check in with the Banquet captains & Chefs and servicing team, and report to Stewarding Manager & Stewarding Operations Supervisor. While events are in progress this person is responsible for the set up and flow of the Stewarding Banquet operation and making sure all necessary Equipment needs are fulfilled.

Responsibilities:

· Take ownership of banquet setup, service back of house, and breakdown.

· Ownership of storage organization

· Coordinate with kitchen and Banquet event planners for seamless execution.

· Ensure all events back of house spaces are properly arranged and maintained.

· Holiday buffet planning / specialty events

· Address cross departmental inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

· Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment.

· Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards.

· Review Banquet event orders & Requisitions forms & fulfil each order

· Guide the Kitchen staff in the absence of Stewarding Operations Supervisor 

· Other duties as assigned

· Train all New Stewards 

· Conduct annual inventories in a timely manner

· Sort Silverware daily

· Provide accurate inventory counts, document, & report

· Conduct breakage reports 

Requirements:

Qualifications:

· Coordinating and delegating

· Experience in banquets Back of house 

· Detail-oriented and organized

· Available to work extended hours, weekends and holidays

· Food and beverage knowledge and safety training

· Need to be able to work weekends and holidays

· Flexibility in schedule

· Long or extended hours

· Capable of walking and standing for long periods 

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

· Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move 25 to 50 pounds.

· Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods and use hands and arms to handle, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

· Requires close, color, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

· Will work indoors and may be exposed to wet, humid, hot, and occasional outdoor weather conditions.

· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
