Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) - Montecito Veterinary Center

Position Overview PetVet Care Centers' Montecito Veterinary Center in Santa Rosa, California is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) to support the hospital. The role includes administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the hospital. Key Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations. Manage lobby flow, address concerns, calm distressed owners, and schedule appointments. Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being. Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and provide information about services and products. Input and manage data in practice management software, including billing and accounts. Assist with retail sales, weigh pets, process faxes, and maintain records. Reconcile cash drawer and perform end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions. Qualifications (Required) Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Some veterinary reception experience required. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Reception experience in fast‑paced environments with high call volume. Schedule 4-5 days per week, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM.
